The unprecedented circumstances of 2020 brought into sharp focus the need for charities to consider their resilience, risks, agility, fixed and flexible resource and the effectiveness of their Boards and Executive teams working together to ensure realism and honesty underpin planning and ambition. Years spent in multiple trustee roles and advising charity leaders have given me a close insight to the essential requirements for effective leadership, planning, risk analysis and resilience.
